VOLUNTEER ON A PRO BONO CONSULTING PROJECT

 Use your skills and experience to make a valuable contribution to some of Chicago’s most dynamic and deserving nonprofits 

 2017-18 Clients:

  •  Center for Conflict Resolution 
  • Enrich Chicago 
  • Northwest Side Housing Center 
  • Perspectives Charter Schools 
  • The Renaissance Collaborative 
  • St. Martin de Porres House of Hope 
  • University of Chicago Crime Lab 
  • Volunteers of America of Illinois 
  • Youth Outreach Services

 REQUIREMENTS  Team Members spend one to two hours per week on their project work from  November through May. 

 DEADLINE – The volunteer application is due October 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m

Support UVA’s Madison House @ 2nd Annual Holiday Party

There are several door prizes to purchase during this event. Any donations will go to Madison House’s Holiday Sharing Program, which endeavors to aid needy families in the Charlottesville, VA area.

Your $10 entrance fee gets you appetizers and special prices on drinks.

UVA Club of Chicago: Cavs Care – Spooky Zoo Spectacular

spooky-zooThe 30th Annual Spooky Zoo Spectacular is a not-for-profit event held at the Lincoln Park Zoo that endeavors to create a safe trick-or treating environment for Chicago area children.

The UVA Club of Chicago, in conjunction with the event organizers, is helping to recruit volunteers to staff and manage the event this coming Saturday, October 29 @ 8:30 am1:00 pm

Volunteer meet-up, check in and free breakfast will be provided at the zoo’s Wild Things Cafe at 8:30 a.m. The volunteering portion of the event will run from 9:30 a.m. until roughly 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, a volunteer appreciation party will be held at 2158 N. Halsted.
